A culinary brand that brought people together through food
In 2014, right after I moved from Tel Aviv to San Francisco, I started a high-end brand called “Le Couloir.” It all began with cozy seasonal dinners that I hosted in my own place, inspired by my previous project called “Tel Aviv Secret Kitchen.” As time went on, I grew and became known as a personal chef in the local community.
With the “Le Couloir” brand, I offered private events and dinner parties, creating amazing culinary experiences right in the homes of my clients. I also organized special cooking workshops and fun team-building events that brought people closer through their shared love for food. I even guided food tours, taking groups on a delightful journey through San Francisco’s Inner Richmond neighborhood.
During my six-year adventure with “Le Couloir,” I learned so much about starting a business from scratch. I became an expert at building a brand, working with clients, finding great staff for events, getting top-notch ingredients, organizing venues, and leading a wonderful team. All this hard work paid off, with over 40 five-star reviews on Yelp and countless positive testimonials from happy customers.
Unfortunately, the challenges of the 2020 pandemic made me make a tough decision to close “Le Couloir.” But don’t worry! The skills and knowledge I gained during that time became the foundation for my new ventures. I was determined to adapt and thrive, so I started new digital businesses, including “Always Tasting,” where I keep exploring and bringing exciting culinary experiences to the world.
